Kristen Coakley
Kristen works as a HRM consultant supporting organisations to achieve successful human resources strategies and integration. She is dedicated and genuinely loves working with people which is evident in her practical, detailed, enthusiastic and hands-on approach to each project.
Her methology is to use a bespoke adaption of best practices to introduce solutions that really work for organisations and their people.
In coaching, Kristen believes in empowering others to take control of their own development and success. Through a collaborative and focused style, Kristen uses coaching to raise awareness, improve performance, support professional development and gain commitment for actions that lead to results. Whether working at an individual or corporate level, Kristen is passionate about creating new insights and perspectives and encouraging her clients to move out of their comfort zones to create solutions and strategies that achieve their goals.
Professional Experience
Kristen has over 15 years’ experience working within Human Resources Management both from organizational and consultancy roles. She now works as a Consultant and does executive, career and transformational coaching. She has been involved in large scale recruitment drives, redundancy processes, senior level assessments, creating and implementing HR policies and systems, onboarding and training programs, recruitment and development assessment centres, as well as developing HR for startup businesses including two new Islamic banks and many SME businesses.
Kristen has experience working in the UAE, Oman, the UK and Canada and across many industry sectors and business lifecycles.
Qualifications and Accreditations
Kristen has an Honours Bachelor Degree in Psychology and English from York University, Canada and is currently completing her dissertation for an MSc in Psychology from the University of Liverpool (UK). She has completed many CIPD HR certificates and is a certified professional coach. She is a member of the Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development (CIPD) and the International Coach Federation (ICF). Kristen is also a certified psychometric assessment user (occupational, ability and personality) and accredited in various psychometric tools which she uses both from an organisational perspective and as part of her coaching strategy.

HR Policy & Procedure Development
As part of their growth, Kristen supported an SME business to review, create and implement new human resources policies and procedures based on best practice and GCC regional labour laws. She also created and implemented a performance management system to facilitate goal setting, regular performance reviews and ongoing employee engagement and feedback.
HRM Development for a Startup Business
Kristen led the startup and creation of Human Resources for a new GCC islamic bank from the hiring of employees, HR policy and procedure creation, development and rollout of onboarding programs, HR systems project planning, to budgeting and business reporting.
Coaching
Kristen has recently worked one-to-one with a regional senior manager as part of their transition into a new global company. The coaching has focused on time management, goal setting, work-life balance and successful integration.
