Margaret is an Associate of Talent Management Global, and has gained considerable and diverse experience working as a Consultant in a variety of organisations.
With Organisational Psychology and Executive Coaching experience in the UK and Middle East that spans three decades, Margaret has expertise in the areas of Leadership Assessment, Professional Development, One to One and Group Executive Coaching.
She has lived in the Middle East Region for over 14 years and has worked extensively throughout the UAE, GCC and beyond. During that time she has worked with clients from a variety of multi-national, public and private organisations based in Bahrain, Qatar, Kuwait, Lebanon, Syria, Oman and Saudi Arabia.
Professional Experience
Margaret brings over 25 years of Business Psychology, Neuro-psychology and Talent Management in global and local organisations. This includes Assessment and Development Centres (design and delivery); executive coaching; leadership development interventions; high potential programmes; and senior level assessments.
Qualifications and Accreditations
Margaret is a Chartered Organisational Psychologist, Accredited Master Executive Coach and an Accredited Coaching Supervisor. She is a Founder Member of the British Psychological Society (BPS) Special Group in Coaching Psychology. With Organisational Psychology and Executive Coaching experience in Europe, the UK and the Middle East that spans three decades, Margaret specialises in the areas of leadership assessment, professional development, one-to-one and group coaching. This includes: stress, anger and conflict management, Wellbeing and Recovery to Wellness, Organisational Change and Role Transition and Building Resilience and Self-Esteem.
Examples of Recent Assignments
Sheikh Khalifa Government Excellence Programme – Mohamed Bin Rashid Government Excellence Award – Prime Minister’s Office – Dubai
In order to choose the three most outstanding leaders in United Arab Emirates, this programme involved 60 top leaders participating in a variety of exercise scenarios including a comprehensive battery of psychometric tests. This included group discussions, analysis exercise and presentation, role-play, competency based interview and personality and ability testing. The top three leaders were awarded at an exclusive ceremony and now serve as key role models in the Country.
London Business School
Margaret has worked as a Team Coach on the London Business School Executive MBA Programme for the last 8 years. The first session is held in London with the rest of the sessions taking place in Dubai. This involves setting up team rules and contract as well as feedback of their 360 report and personality questionnaire as a group which allows group members to work more effectively together. A Personal Development Plan is also set out to help them put some of the theory into practice at work in order to improve their leadership skills.
Coaching
Margaret is an Accredited Master Executive Coach and has a number of coaching clients throughout the UAE. Recently, she has been involved in coaching three Directors within the Ministry as part of an overall Leadership Programme. This involved a three way discussion with the line manager,;setting out a Personal Development Plan; considering the results of a variety of psychometric tests; and one-to-one coaching over a one year period.
Leadership Development
Margaret was recently involved in a two day leadership programme for Directors working in PwC. This involved pairing up with a Partner/Mentor and observing a variety of presentations, role-plays and feedback, culminating in setting out a Personal Development Plan to help them achieve promotion to Partner within the following two years.
