Suzy Gabbay

Suzy is a Business Psychologist and has worked as a consultant, coach and facilitator for 19 years in the UK, Europe and Australia on projects for public and private sectors. She has been involved in leadership development, career transition and recruitment for all of that time. 

Suzy frequently works with individuals and groups who are faced with significant organisational change and cultural evolution. She uses a range of assessment tools to support selection decisions or to provide useful development discussions. 

She favours experiential learning and draws her capability from a strong background in Organisational Psychology. 

Suzy is pragmatic and described by clients as engaging, enabling and collaborative.

Professional Experience

Suzy has facilitated a vast number of workshops over the years to multicultural audiences across various territories. She has been engaged on multiple projects that seek to enhance leadership capability and which address both the strategic and people imperatives for leader populations ranging from emerging leaders through to senior leadership. In addition, Suzy has been involved in a number of team development projects to create high performing and synergistic teams in the UK and Europe. She has conducted around 4,000 coaching sessions and coached managers to become coaches.

Previously Suzy worked in advertising and the media as a Television Producer, Researcher and Broadcast Journalist. She also worked as a part time Visiting Lecturer in Business Psychology at two London universities.

Examples of Recent Assignments

Suzy has worked across most industry sectors and sample of projects includes:

  • Facilitated a suite of leadership programmes across the UK and Europe to strengthen leadership capability and increase employee engagement. Project ran for 3 years for a global facilities management organisation.
  • Coached SVPs and Directors of a global financial institution to enable them to gain greater clarity about career development and direction.
  • Part of the delivery team on a leadership development programme for senior leaders in the sales and marketing of digital media products in the APAC region.
  • Trained approximately 150 people to become assessors on internal assessment centres for a global car manufacturer.
  • Ran a series of management and leadership development programmes across UK and Europe ranging from 1-3 days for a technology and big data giant.
  • Delivered a series of senior leadership programmes as lead facilitator for a government executive agency specialising in education to facilitate and accelerate a major cultural change agenda. Used 360 feedback, a range of assessment tools and exercises with feedback.
  • Coached 27 general managers over 3 month period in NSW Australia using psychometrics and upward feedback. The group results informed the leadership strategy and led to the refinement and development of further leadership initiatives. These were then rolled out to enhance and develop capability throughout the organisation.
